柯云路-恐高症
為了對這個問題的討論更加深入,我們有必要再做壹些考察。
不妨先舉壹個神經癥的事例。大家知?,神經癥,又名精神神經癥,是以精神障礙為表現的疾病。其主要類型有:焦慮癥,抑郁癥,疑病癥,恐怖癥,強迫癥,疲勞癥(通稱神經衰弱),癔病,等等。
就恐怖癥而言,就有各種恐怖。如高處恐怖,廣場恐怖,黑暗恐怖,幽閉恐怖,社交恐怖,等等,還包括諸如水恐怖,怕見水,火恐怖,怕見火,尖物恐怖,怕見任何尖銳物體。
就“高處恐怖”而言,通常我們稱為“恐高癥”,這是指對高處有特殊的、超出正常範圍的恐怖。按照精神分析學及有關理論,恐高癥同各種神經癥都應該有其原因。對於原因,不同的學說,不同的病例,有不同的看法。
作者在這些年對疾病(包括神經癥)的考察中發現,恐高癥在相當壹些病例中,有共同的規律。或者說,恐高癥對於壹些人來講,有著共同的隱喻與象征。
在中國的知識分子群中(也包括幹部群中),如果有人具有如下特點:
第壹,生性要強,為自己設置高目標,持久地用高目標壓迫自己,在追求高目標的人生歷程中,身心深處有畏懼。
第二,敏感,理智,善於控制、抑制自己。
那麽,他們絕大多數都患有不同程度的恐高癥。
起初,作者對這壹點並不很了解。以為各有各的童年創傷或什麽特殊身心結構。然而,當發現了這壹群體的共性之後,作者明白了:空間上的高處恐怖,其實不過是人生進取上的高處恐怖轉化來的。前者不過是後者的隱喻與象征。
人們在人生中追求高目標,對於這種追求的艱苦、壓力懷有畏懼感是自己不知道的,或者說是不願意承認的。這時就用恐高癥隱喻地、象征地將這種畏懼情緒釋放出來。
自從發現這壹隱喻、象征的語碼,我對很多恐高癥壹分析就透。並且,許多患有恐高癥的人壹經這樣點破,癥狀很快就減輕了。
有的幾乎當場見效。當妳對他分析完之後,他想壹想,體會壹下,感到心中壹動,是那麽回事,再上高處往下看時,發現恐高現象已經大部消失。
相信類似的恐高癥患者都能通過這樣的自我分析治愈自己的恐高癥。也相信朋友們能從這壹規律中發現更多的東西。

人之所以不快樂,大多是頭腦在制約。頭腦的念頭一轉,快樂就跟隨而來。偏偏頭腦最會做的三件事就是「判斷、比較、放大」。先入為主的判斷、跟別人比較,把負面的或自己的委屈放大。也是因為這三件事不斷的在腦子中演練、運作,於是人就變得心胸狹隘,不快樂。
之前,香港亞太區希望我派一位員工去受訓,當時有三位都非常恰當的候選人,但由於名額有限,於是我決定先派當時工作上最需要的一位。但是另一位經理非常介意,直問為什麼不是他。儘管主管跟他解釋,並表示下一次還有機會,但他還是耿耿於懷,久久無法放下。這可能是他被頭腦這三件事的制約所擾亂。第一,他馬上下了判斷「老闆偏心」;第二,他開始比較「為什麼是他,不是我?他哪裡比我強?」最後,他放大自己的委屈「公司真的太不公平了,無視於我的努力,太過分了,所以我決定要…」。這就是我所謂頭腦在運作著判斷、比較和放大這三件事,讓人愈想愈委屈,愈來愈不快樂,甚至做了錯誤的決定。前一陣子,有一位跟我借錢很久沒還的舊同事找我,我心裡想起這件事,頓時不舒服,心想找我一定也沒什麼好事,因此不想回電。後來經自己提醒,不可先下判斷,才回了郵件給他。原來他是想介紹一位潛在客戶給我,後來這位客戶也變成了公司的重要客戶之一。這件事也讓我警惕,頭腦總是會根據以前的經驗,下錯判斷。記得《唐山大地震》電影,片中那個女兒就是在地震發生時,發現媽媽先救了弟弟,於是一輩子耿耿於懷。她不但一直無法原諒媽媽,覺得媽媽偏心,而且放大媽媽的不公平,這個陰影跟著她,也影響她的婚姻,一直到最後看到弟弟的殘廢與努力,體會到媽媽的無奈與自責,才了解母愛偉大。其實她也是頭腦的先入為主,判斷(媽媽偏心)、比較(跟弟弟比較)、以及放大(愈想愈委屈)所形成的悲苦,讓自己的心禁錮了數十年不快樂。我們要讓心打開,不釀成大錯,就得時時警惕自己不要讓頭腦時時運作了這三個功能,學習放下,才能得到快樂的鑰匙。學習警惕這三件事,是一輩子的功課。(刊載於經濟日報100年5月18日 C10版)
